Fresh water consumption

Fresh water is an increasingly scarce but important resource.

Have a look at this great illustration, where the water of the world goes and how it is consumed. In many places water consumption is depending on population size. But a great deal goes into food production.

Did you know that India exports a big deal of their fresh water bound in different foods?
